Biography

Lisa Baumwell, Ph.D., is Visiting Associate Professor of Child Development at Pratt Institute and a Research Affiliate at New York University’s Center for Research on Culture, Development, and Education. Her work focuses on the relational and environmental factors influencing the development of at-risk children, and the refinement of intervention programs for families with infants and toddlers. She has written many journal articles, chapters, and entries regarding the impact of psychosocial circumstances on children and families.
