A Fulbright specialist grantee in Art Education to Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2011 and 2012, her research interests include teaching and learning in art and design education; the drawing practices of early adolescents; and art and design in youth and community development. Current projects include co-curating (with Tara Kopp) “The Imperative of Teaching:” Studio Pedagogy at Gallery Bergen at Bergen Community College, New Jersey, February 2013, a group exhibition with Kim Beck, Adam Brent, Nina Katchadourian and Sheila Pepe, and others.
