Arch., Columbia University in the City of New York; BiographyMichael Chen teaches design studios and seminars, and is coordinator of Technics and director of the Kullman Center in the School of Architecture. He is partner in Normal Projects, a research-oriented collaborative architecture, design, and creative practice based in New York and Los Angeles. He is the recipient of awards for design excellence from Columbia University and has been awarded traveling fellowships and grants for research from Columbia University and the Graham Foundation. In 2004 he was the Dinkeloo Fellow at the American Academy in Rome. |
