Guillermo Banchini set his professional practice and teaching activity in Rosario – Argentina in 1994. Between 2001-02 he did his master degree at SCI-Arc. from 2002 and 2004 he thought at SCI-Arc and also he did some workshops in Rosario and Sydney Australia. During that period he worked together with Marcelo Spina, his former partner also in Rosario, where they developed several projects. Now he is working in Rosario and teaching at the School of architecture of Rosario and Pratt.
2006 Quito Architecture Biennale. Student competition. Â“Urban design competitionÂ” and Â“Architectural design competitionÂ”. First prize (both). Instructor in charge.
2005 U.N.R. National University of Rosario, School of Architecture, Planning and Design. Position at the range of adjunt professor. National Competition. First Prize.
2003 Private Competition Sci-arc CafÃ© and Boardroom Competition. Southern California Institute of Architecture. First Prize.
2002 AIA Henry Adams Certificate Award accredited by The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
2000 Full ScholarshipÂ’s given by studying at Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-ARC. Program MR+D
1999 Regional Competition of projects for the construction of the School of Engineering and Auditorium of the National University of Rosario, Rosario, Argentina. Honorable Mention.
1997 National Competition of Â“Ideas for the renovation of The Area of Â“RetiroÂ”, Buenos Aires, ArgentinaÂ”. Second Honorable mention.
1995 Private Competition of Projects for the Argentine Catholic University, School of law and business. Rosario, Argentina.Honorable Mention.
1995 National Competition of project for Â“ The completion of the Civic and Monumental Unit as part of The Parque Nacional a la bandera de Rosario, and inclusion of a group of Sculptures made by Lola Mora for the above mentioned Memorial. Rosario. Argentina.
