EducationPh.D. from New York University BiographyJeanne Houck is an American cultural historian who holds a Ph.D. from New York University. Her company, History Works, is a new media and film production consulting company. Before founding History Works, she co-founded and was vice president of Clio, Inc. , Visualizing History. For Clio, Inc., she marketed and managed staff as well as directed new media projects and served as executive director for various film projects. In addition, Houck was Senior Research Historian for the PBS series Citizenship and senior historian for the Center for Children and Technology, which developed into the Library of Congress’s American Memory website. |
