Biography

Jonathan Meyers is Vice President of Real Estate at the Governor’s Island Preservation & Education Corporation in New York City, directing real estate development for 172-acre former military installation in New York Harbor. Primary responsibility for conceiving and implementing a
development strategy for a highly challenged, publicly owned site. Primary focus is on identifying and implementing capital improvements and first-mover tenancy sufficient to establish the Island as a viable development opportunity that meets public sector goals. Also maintain responsibility for developing $20 million annual operating budget and developing and implementing $40 million annual capital budget. Ongoing development of strategy,budget, and real estate analysis with board and State and City principals.
