Pratt Manhattan w14 labs
The w14 labs on the Pratt Manhattan Campus are located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan at 144 West 14th Street in New York City. Our labs offer state of the art computer and audiovisual technology for student and faculty. The labs are designed to serve the curriculum needs of classes taking place on the Manhattan Campus, but students from all programs at Pratt are welcome in our facilities. The labs are broken into three distinct types; computer classrooms, technology suites, and open labs. Computer classrooms are used for classes requiring computer technology in the curriculum. Technology suites are smaller spaces dedicated to more advanced technology geared toward specialized areas.
We currently have three technology suites, one for video editing, one for high-end scanning and our Color Print Center for color printing and plotting. Suites are available on a walk-in or a reservation basis for students and faculty. Open labs are spaces which are available for student, faculty, or staff to utilize during our normal operating hours. Academic Computing at Pratt Manhattan is also responsible for audiovisual equipment requests for use in traditional classrooms, thirty technology enabled classrooms, and our lecture hall in our facility.
