SideLights Video Project
SideLights is a collaborative project between the Division of Information Technology and selected faculty and students in the Film/Video Department. Our mission is to document people and events at Pratt with video vignettes. Like their namesake in cinema, SideLights illuminate interesting, important and otherwise hidden aspects of their subject. Pratt Film/Video majors direct the videos, and the students are mentored by members of the Film/Video Faculty.

Arthur is currently freelancing on movies, television shows, and commercials in Atlanta, GA. He is also in the process of completing two new documentaries of his own. |

Daniel has been freelancing and working for an advertising agency in midtown Manhattan. The company, SME, is a branding agency that has clients that range from sports & entertainment to higher education. “My experience with SideLights really helped me get this job. I've been working on a script for a short and I hope to start shooting in the spring.” |

 April Maxey, Pratt BFA, Film, 2012
April Maxey grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Her senior thesis short film POLAROID GIRL had its US Premiere at Outfest in Los Angeles and has screened at 13 other festivals around the world. She currently lives in Brooklyn, and continues to create film projects when she is not freelancing in the camera department on other sets. |

 David Adeogun, Pratt BFA, Film 2012David has been freelancing in New York and Delaware, including photography, and video work for weddings and events. He has been able to equip his own studio, which has provided him with the independence to pursue his own projects. |

 Deborah Meehan, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, MFA, Film, 1980
Deborah is a filmmaker, the producer for SideLights, and serves as a full-time professor in the Film/Video Department. She is also co-director of The Pratt Film Society. (link to PFS) |

 Josh Koury, Pratt BFA, Film, 2001
Josh is a filmmaker and serves as SideLights’ faculty advisor and co-producer. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor in the Film/Video Department. His latest feature documentary - JOURNEY TO PLANET X, (co-directed with Myles Kane, BFA, Film 2001) had its premiere at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. |
