Public Relations and Communications

The Office of Public Relations and Communications conveys significant and newsworthy information about Pratt Institute to both external and internal audiences. The Office includes Publications, Photography, and Special Events.

The Office is responsible for increasing the visibility of Pratt Institute as one of the world's premier colleges of art, design, liberal arts and sciences, architecture, and library science through consistent and creative branding, strategic marketing, and media relations efforts. Its staff promotes Pratt Institute's events, exhibitions, academic programs, and the achievements of its faculty, students, and staff through the production of award-winning publications and by working with various media outlets in order to distribute news about Pratt locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Office handles the management of all photography, design, and editorial for the Institute's print publications and for its public relations campaigns. The public relations and communications department handles all media inquiries and works with reporters and producers from around the world to enhance Pratt's presence in various print, broadcast, and Internet media outlets.
