Weather and Emergency Closing Procedures
On occasion severe weather or the occurence of other environmental conditions may impact the Institute's operations and result in closing of the Institute or a modification of the Institute's schedule. On such occasions notifications will be made to employees via the Emergency Alert System, my.pratt.edu and the phone-in notification system. Separate notifications will be made for Classes (faculty and students) and Offices (all other employees) per the attached procedure.
Smoking Policy
Pratt Institute seeks to maintain a healthy, comfortable, and productive educational and work environment for all students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors as well as to preserve the aesthetic value of the campus. In order to provide a smoke-free environment for non-smokers we must restict the areas on campus where smoking is permitted. Smoking on the Pratt campus is limited to certain designated areas on campus. The complete policy including permissible smoking locations is attached.
